That Very Jeff!! Do You Remember The Fantastic Road Runner
Gone, friends, are the old good times for producers, the real bisons, show-bisons! Nevertheless, let's take a moment to recall some of them. David Parker, who made such tough performers as Tako and Luis Fernandez, sent ... Jeff Harrison. Yeeh, not where you thought, but ... to sing a song (not to be confused with LG) that "Bad New York City" :) That was a good job, but our dear Jeff wanted to do something in the disco dance style as well.

A little departure from the topic, friends.
Mike Mareen, the king of Italo Disco (so he had been named for the super hit "Love-spy" in 1986) had not wasted time, lain in the Sun, resting on his laurels, but managed to make the utmost out of the surge of popularity, to show himself as a good and wise producer. His name had weight, and at the time, he harbored Jeff and set his impressive socal in the right direction, that produced the expected effect! For Mike to launch a new project was no problem. He had alreadylaunched a lot of other projects! All Mike needed was a new name, to be precise, a name, that could establish connection between a voice of the real rock wave and dance music. The matter was to find such a performer that would be identified with old good England. And Mike found that one. UK had been born.

Soon Mike understood that Jeff was a singer of the highest sort. The latter had earlier demonstrated the power of his voice in "Kin Ping Meh", a solo project, that had attracted a wide range of the rock audience owing to some smoked, but pretty manly, powerful and beautiful voice. Then he with the London Symphonic-Rock Orchestra and Trevor Jones, the Moody-Blues producer, had recorded a few rock titles, considerably varying in sound. Performing countless times in TV shows, live in GDR, Jeff achieved popularity, prominent name and ... fame as a poet and composer, working in all music styles.

"For this very reason our new joint project with Jeff will require, and I exactly know this, maximum exertion, persistence and responsibility mainly for my own part", Mike said in one of his interviews.

"Roadrunner" ... the song, that had com from the pen of Slizy Bob, made Jeff a superstar in the hearts of all Italo fans and was forever written into the annals of Italo disco. That was a successful song. It convinced Mike to record another dance song with Jeff, sung in duette with Shipra under the name of "Corona Taps with Shipra". The title of their song was "Kung Fu Clan."
